We look forward to seeing you at Gibson Summer Jam 2011!
I am back and fully recovered from my weekend at Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus Ohio. (You may notice it took me 4 days to “fully recover”…). The bands were great and of course I enjoyed watching them, but the most outstanding thing from the entire festival was the crowd. Masses of sun-soaked,lobster-red, sweaty, happily buzzed rock fans having an awesome time. I’ve never seen so much crowd surfing before in my life. Big, small, dudes, chics, a guy in a wheelchair all crowd surfing with no trouble. The security was catching people all day long with grace. This is how raucous should be!
Here is a taste of the fun. Inspiration for the crowd provided by Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society
